MY MANY AND VARIED EXPERIENCES

I have not always had the EXCITING results that I am about to share with you. I have served the Lord since 1966 and I have done just about everything imaginable to win people to Christ. I have gone door to door. I have preached in big farmer’s markets. I have preached on buses. I have passed hours outside of high schools talking to the students as they went in or came out. In the night, I have witnessed outside of bars and dance halls.

When there were parades, I would carry signs before they began and then at the end. Others would pass out Gospel literature to those lining the streets. I have witnessed at state and country fairs. We have done mimes and dramas in the street. I have even done magic tricks to illustrate the Gospel. Once I rented an airplane and pilot to distribute some 110,000 Gospel booklets to many towns.

Sure, there were some people that gave themselves to Jesus. But I felt bad that there were not any “educated” or “professional” people, as we would say. No professors, or doctors, or lawyers or engineers or business persons. Something was drastically missing in order to win these classes of individuals to Christ.
