In 1992 I realized that a big part of the problem was the lie of evolution and those millions of years. We can see the difference between Peter and Paul. Peter in the Bible in Acts chapter 2 was preaching to the Jews who believed in the Scriptures, the Bible. 3,000 were converted to Christ.
On the other hand in Acts 17, Paul was preaching to the Greeks, people who did NOT believe the Bible. First he preached to them about the Creator, His creation and the formation of all the nations from “one blood”. Then he preached to them the salvation in Jesus and there were a few conversions.
In these days we live in a society that is totally saturated with the ideas of evolution, millions of years and that “the Bible is not true”.

And what does this all have to do with today’s world?
From 1992 to 1998, I was studying and preparing some talks about the creation, evolution, the age of the earth, the Bible, dinosaurs, and science. Many times I felt, well, rather “apostate” for talking so much about science and similar things and so little about the Bible.
All of this changed in 1998. I was in the city of Cuernavaca, an hour south of Mexico City. I gave all of my 7 creation-science talks to 200 people. Half was given on Friday night and the other half on Saturday morning. It was a total of almost 4 hours. (Now it takes almost 10 hours to give the 20 creation-science conferences.)
At the end, the pastor came up to me and asked that I would preach for the Sunday morning services. I said, “I’d be glad to. What do you want me to preach on?” He answered, “Well this, your strong area.” (He was pointing to my slides, fossils and dinosaurs.)

That Sunday I preached two times. It was a large church and the people did not all fit in one service. OK, you can believe me or not, but I preached two times on the dinosaurs. Even God enjoyed the message!
You ask me: “And how do you know that?” I answer: “Ten (10) received Jesus as Lord and Savior!”
I felt that God was saying to me: “John, if you use dinosaurs and the science of the creation to get people’s attention and then make a logical transition to the Gospel of my Son Jesus, that’s just fine. Keep going!”
